Bikes for the World (BFTW) was voted as the charity of choice for Coastal Racing Club.

"Bikes for the World welcomes a partnership with Coastal Racing Club.  We are working towards partnerships with more and more communities up and down the East Coast, to share our enthusiasm for what bikes can do for others, and share our knowledge  on how it can be done, in hopes of enabling others to more and more participate in different ways including collecting and shipping/donating on their own," said BFTW director Keith Oberg.

Coastal Racing will use the Coastal Crit race on August 3rd to serve as a collection site for used bikes and bike gear. The bikes and gear are then shipped to underdeveloped countries. For more information, visit our Coastal Crit web page or go to www.bikesfortheworld.com.
